Visiting teaching gives women the opportunity to watch over, strengthen, and teach one another-it is truly a work of salvation. Through visiting, sisters minister in behalf of the Savior and help prepare women for the blessings of eternal life.
“We are to warn, expound, exhort and teach, and invite (others) to come unto Christ” (D&C 20:59), as the Lord said in his revelations,” said President Kimball. Further, he said, “Your testimony is a terrific medium. You are going to save souls. You see, you are not only saving these sisters, but perhaps also their husbands and their homes.”

Sisters if you have a recipe you would like to share we would love to share it with the other sisters.
Please Email me at billandjojohnson@comcast.net or you can bring it to RS on Sunday.

We live in a unique time in the world's history. We are blessed with so very much. And yet it is sometimes difficult to view the problems and permissiveness around us and not become discouraged. I have found that, rather than dwelling on the negative, if we will take a step back and consider the blessings in our lives, including seemingly small, sometimes overlooked blessings, we can find greater happiness.  I would recommend this exercise to you--namely, that you take an inventory of your life and, look specifically for the blessings, large and small, you have received.
Hot Fudge  -  shared by Judy McDonald

2 Tablespoons Water
1Teaspoon Vanilla
In heavy saucepan, over medium heat, melt chips and margarine with sweetened condensed milk, water and vanilla. Cook and stir constantly until thickened, about 5 minutes.   To reheat: In small heavy saucepan, combine desired amount of sauce with small amount of water.
