VT MESSAGE - “CONSIDER THE BLESSINGS” By Pres. Thomas S. Monson

We live in a unique time in the world's history. We are blessed with so very much. And yet it is sometimes difficult to view the problems and permissiveness around us and not become discouraged. I have found that, rather than dwelling on the negative, if we will take a step back and consider the blessings in our lives, including seemingly small, sometimes overlooked blessings, we can find greater happiness.  I would recommend this exercise to you--namely, that you take an inventory of your life and, look specifically for the blessings, large and small, you have received.

Hot Fudge  -  shared by Judy McDonald
1 (6 oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips or 4 (1 0z) squares semi- sweet chocolate
2 Tablespoons margarine or butter
1 (14 0z) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 Tablespoons Water
1Teaspoon Vanilla
In heavy saucepan, over medium heat, melt chips and margarine with sweetened condensed milk, water and vanilla. Cook and stir constantly until thickened, about 5 minutes.   To reheat: In small heavy saucepan, combine desired amount of sauce with small amount of water. Over low heat, stir constantly until heated.

Makes about 2 cups.
